Large populations of feral cats are present on all 3 islands, occupying all available habitats (Burton, 2003 in Varnham, 2006). Management Notes for this Location: Felis catus have been trapped in the QE II Botanic Park on Grand Cayman, where a restored population of 'Critically Endangered (CR)' endemic Cayman island ground iguana (see Cyclura lewisi in IUCN Red List of Threatened Species) is established (Burton, 2003 in Varnham, 2006).
