Details of this species in Baker Island Status: Alien Invasiveness: Invasive Occurrence: Eradicated Source: Rauzon et al. 2002 Arrival Date: Introduction: Species Notes for this Location: Feral cats were introduced to the Jarvis Island National Wildlife Refuge in the 1930s, and extirpated some tern species, small procellarids, Pacific rats (Rattus exulans) and Norway rats (Rattus norvegicus) from Jarvis, Howland and Baker Islands. Management Notes for this Location: Feral cats were eradicated from Jarvis Island in 1990, from Baker Island in the 1960s, and Howland Island in 1986.
