Management Notes for this Location: The Pacific rat (Rattus exulans) was eradicated from Raoul Island in 2002, in a programme undertaken by the Department of Conservation (led by M. Ambrose). The eradication was achieved with two aerial applications of brodifacoum, five days apart. DoC's Island Biosecurity SOP remains in place to prevent reinvasion of the island occurring (J.
