Management Notes for this Location: This population is difficult to monitor. Their number is estimated at about 4000 individuals. Impacts: Habitat alteration: The reindeer (along with sheep and sheep) have contributed to the depletion of the Kerguelen cabbage (Pringlea antiscorbutica) and the Azorelle (Azorella selago).
